A Cancer Survivorship Program
Medical Center Hospital’s Cancer Recovery & Rehab Program is a nationally recognized cancer survivorship certification that is focused on improving the lives of cancer survivors who are living with the debilitating side- effects caused by oncology treatment. The program is delivered through our oncology and rehabilitation departments and is managed by clinical staff members who have undergone intensive training in oncology rehab. Our knowledgeable and caring medical staff is specially trained to work with survivors of all forms of cancer.
The program focuses on the unique, individual needs of cancer survivors and offers customized rehabilitation plans developed by a team of specialists ranging from physicians and physical, speech, and occupational therapists to dietitians and mental health professionals. This team approach is intended to help cancer survivors heal physically and emotionally to improve the symptoms affecting their daily functioning and quality of life.
