Dr. Davenport

Dr. Davenport is originally from northeastern Ohio. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology at the Ohio University. He continued at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated with his degree in 1995. He completed a year of internship in Columbus, Ohio then moved to Michigan. He completed his general surgery residency through Michigan State University and graduated in 2000.

In August, 2000 he began private practice in Odessa, Texas. He has also been fortunate enough to provide medical care for a time in Monahans, Texas.
In May of 2003, in a coordinated effort with Medical Center Hospital, Dr. Davenport began working to establish the Medical Center Hospital Bariatric Program. His laparoscopic bariatric training allows for a minimally invasive surgical procedures. Together with MCH he has helped establish the only Bariatric MSBSAQIP and JC accredited program in the Permian Basin and West Texas.

Dr. Glass

Dr. Glass was born in Brooklyn, New York, but grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. He moved to Lubbock, Texas where he attended junior high and high school. He graduated from Baylor University with a degree in psychology and minored in biology and chemistry. He went on to attend medical school at UTHSC San Antonio, and did his general surgery residency in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He built a thriving bariatric surgery practice in St. Cloud, Minnesota, but eventually escaped the bitter winters and joined a practice in Augusta, Georgia. He moved to Odessa, Texas in 2016 and started Odessa Surgical Services. He performs the full gamut of general surgery, but his primary love is laparoscopic bariatric surgery. Hobbies include family activities, anything computers, Bible study, and raising a kitten.
