MCH Heart Matters
MCH Heart Matters is a group for people and/or their families who have heart failure. It is a place to share their experiences with each other. MCH Heart Matters offers educational sessions, as well as general discussions about ways to help them better manage their heart failure, such as diet and exercise.
Many people find support groups to be useful in coping with their individual problems and the emotional aspects of the condition. People are comforted by the knowledge that they are not alone in their anxiety. This group will provide the opportunity to meet others who have heart failure, have a device, or perhaps even have had a heart transplant. The goal of MCH Heart Matters is to provide the individual and/or their family with tools, like information and education, they need to enjoy a good quality of life and decrease the need for re-hospitalizations.
